Finding a reliable specialist for large-scale wardrobe assembly shouldn’t be a challenge. At Wardrobe House, we have made the process seamless by partnering with Local assemblers and our in-house technicians, to assemble your furniture.
How it works: Simply tick the “Professional Assembly” box on any product page before adding to your cart. You will be charged a transparent flat rate for the full build—no hidden hourly fees.
📦 Step 1: Once Your Goods Are Delivered
Once your order arrives, we will provide you with a dedicated contact number. Please do inspect the flat pack boxes and inform the delivery driver if you notice any damages.
Inspect Immediately: inpect the boxes for any visible signs of damage.
Report Issues: In the rare event of transit damage, contact Wardrobe House support immediately. We will dispatch replacement parts via express courier.
Ready to Build: Most of our technicians will be present at the time of delivery and they will be ready to assemble your wardrobe.
⚠️ Important: For block of apartments, our delivery driver is only insured to drop your order at the door as they will not be insured.
📐 Step 2: Preparing Your Space
Large 4, 5, and 6-door wardrobes require significant floor space to be built safely (often being assembled face-down before being raised).
Clear the Area: Ensure all old furniture is removed from the assembly zone.
Correct Room: The boxes must be located in the specific room where the wardrobe is to be installed. Our technicians are not insured to move heavy boxes between floors.
Level Floors: For large units, a level floor is essential for door alignment.
♻️ Step 3: Packaging & Waste
Our professionals will neatly gather all cardboard and plastic wrap and place it in a location of your choice on your property (e.g., your garage or recycling bins).
Note: Due to commercial waste licensing laws, our technicians cannot take the packaging away from your premises.
Assembly FAQ (Most Asked Questions)
How long does assembly take?
A standard 2-door wardrobe typically takes 30 minutes –1 hour. Larger 6-door sets or complex sliding systems can take 1–2 hours. Your technician will provide a more accurate estimate upon arrival.
Do you anchor the wardrobes to the wall?
All our wardrobes are freestanding, However, you can ask us or If you have specialised walls (e.g., plasterboard/dot-and-dab), please inform us in advance.
What if I need to reschedule my assembly?
Our backoffice team will contact your 48 hours prior to delivery and assembly slot. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a late-cancellation fee.
Can the technician move my old wardrobe?
Technicians are only booked for the assembly of new items. While they may assist with minor clearing for an additional fee, we recommend having the space completely clear before they arrive to avoid extra charges.
